Race Credits (RC)
Paid out for finishing races, scoring points and climbing ranks. RC funds engine and cornering upgrades, Boosters, Turbos and most cosmetics. You cannot buy RC directly.
Optional purchase
Gears
Bought in the shop, used for premium cosmetic choices, and convertible to RC in the game. Gears never buy performance you could not otherwise earn.
The rules, in full
- Gears convert to Race Credits. Race Credits do not convert to Gears.
- Neither currency can be cashed out, transferred, traded or sold.
- Both are in-game items with no cash value and no exchange rate outside the game.
- Every competition has free entry. There is no paid entry tier.
- Prize pools are paid in Race Credits and in-game items.
- Purchases are optional. Gears can unlock premium customization or accelerate progression through RC conversion, but nothing is required to race or compete and every performance upgrade can be earned by playing.
