Getting Started
Reaction Racing is a skill-based, multiplayer racing game where your reaction speed and your car development decide how competitive you are. You start in R4.7 and work toward R1.0 by racing, improving your car, earning points, and competing in tougher championships.
It is built as a mobile-first web game with a tokenized economy. RRX powers upgrades, championship entry, staking, and other gameplay utilities, while RRGV is the separate, non-transferable governance token for community participation.
Download ReactionRacing, create your account in the app, and confirm your email. The first 2,500 registered players are Founding Players, also called Founding Drivers.
The Founding Players package includes a 1,000 RRX New User Bonus, a 200 RRX referral reward, and the longest Reward Doubler period. These onboarding balances are credited as VESTED RRX and remain subject to the published eligibility and anti-abuse rules.
Eventually, yes. You can start through the email registration flow and add self-custody later.
Reaction Racing is designed around Avalanche C-Chain as the canonical settlement layer. The whitepaper also describes support for supported wallet environments and acquisition channels, but canonical balances and gameplay state remain on Avalanche C-Chain.
Reaction Racing is a mobile app optimized for iOS and Android. Visit the Reaction Racing download page to find the app in the respective app stores.

Gameplay
Reaction Racing is built around reaction-time skill. In the current gameplay flow, your inputs in qualifying and race turns combine with your car strength to decide performance.
| Qualifying tap the 'race button' the instant it appears after the 5 red lights go out. The time you needed to react, combined with your car strength, defines your lap time and qualifying position. |
| Race turns wait for the five red lights to go out, then tap immediately the 'race button'. Your reaction time, combined with your car strength, determines the distance you cover on that turn. |
Faster reactions matter, but so does car development. A stronger car improves your baseline performance across the same inputs.
Before a race, there is a 30 seconds qualification where you can run maximum 4 qualifying laps. For each lap, the 'race button' appears after the 5 red lights go out and your reaction time you needed to hit the button, sets that lap time.
Your best qualifying lap determines your starting position on the grid. Starting higher up can be a major advantage once the race begins.
If you hit the 'race button' in the spin-area, you spin and cause a 5 second yellow flag. If you fully miss the 'race button', you crash, and cause a 10 second red flag, where nobody can qualify. If you crash, your qualification is over.
Single Seasons are the solo progression format, where you race against AI. Single seasons are free to enter and allow you to practice against stronger competitors, earn RRX to improve your car and prepre yourself for the cup seasons.
Cup seasons are the scheduled competitive multiplayer format. In cup seasons, you compete against other players and if you collected enough racing points in your ranking, a top-3 finish lets you promote to a higher rank. To enter a cup season, you need to pay an entry fee. The rewards paid are also higher and a portion of the cup season rewards are FREE.
| R4 Cup entry fee: 10 RRX |
| R3 Cup entry fee: 20 RRX |
| R2 Cup entry fee: 40 RRX |
| R1 Cup entry fee: 80 RRX |
As you climb the ladder, cup seasons also get longer and tougher: from 6 races per season at R4 with 10 competitors up to 9 races per season at R1 with 20 competitors.
Your car has persistent upgrade state. The main upgrade categories are Engine and Fast / Medium / Slow Corners, and those upgrades stay attached to your car.
There is dynamic pricing for component upgrades: costs start lower early and rise gradually as you approach max development.
| Boosters are consumable items that shave 50ms off a the reaction times during qualifying or race turns. Boosters cost 100 RRX each. |
| Turbos are consumable items that add +1 race distance on a turn. Turbos cost 250 RRX each. |
Every car is represented by a unique vehicle token. That token records the car’s owner, rank class, component levels, performance points, derived performance bonus, and eligibility state.
Finishing races and championships adds performance points to the car, and those points feed into the car’s derived performance bonus.
If a crash event occurs, the car’s current performance-point balance is reduced by 5%, and the derived bonus is recalculated from the new balance.
When you promote into a higher rank, you move to a new vehicle token for that rank. Your older car does not disappear; it keeps its existing component levels, performance points, and derived bonus.
Older cars can be retained, transferred, listed on the marketplace, or assigned through the Race Team system. The Race Team system lets another player compete with that car, where you effectively build a race team; both you and the driving player earn rewards.
When you start your racing career, you start in the lowest racing rank, which is R4.7. By racing and winning seasons, you climb from R4.7 up to R1.0 as the highest racing rank possible. Higher ranks mean bigger grids, longer seasons, larger cup entry fees, and larger rewards.
In every major rank (R4, R3, R2, R1) there are 8 sub-ranks (R4.7 to R4.0, and so on). You move up by competing, earning Racing Points. As soon as you accumulated 500 Racing Points at your current level, you will advance in rank if you finish a cup season in the top-3.
Each time when you promote into a higher rank, you earn a promotion reward. Promotion rewards also rise as you climb.
RRX Tokens & Wallet
RRX is Reaction Racing’s core utility token. It is used for car upgrades, Cup entry fees, staking, and other approved ecosystem utilities.
Before onchain deployment, RRX is intended to operate as an in-platform gameplay balance. The current roadmap targets October 1, 2026 for Avalanche C-Chain contract launch, at which point eligible recorded balances are intended to be recognized 1:1 on Avalanche C-Chain.
RRX is described as a gameplay utility asset — not equity, debt, or a claim on treasury or protocol revenue.
No. RRX is a gameplay and ecosystem utility token.
It is not described as equity, debt, profit participation, a treasury claim, a dividend right, or a claim on assets, revenues, or distributions. The whitepaper also states that nothing in it should be read as a promise of token value, liquidity, profit, or return.
Reaction Racing uses two functional token states:
| FREE the transferable / withdrawable layer where enabled. |
| VESTED usable in-game for upgrades, entry fees, staking, and other approved utilities, but restricted from open transfer until the vesting period expires. |
The standard vesting period for VESTED balances is 3 years. Most gameplay-issued RRX is VESTED, except for season rewards or parts of the season rewards in higher racing ranks.
| Race rewards, single-season rewards, season standings, welcome bonuses, referral rewards, and promotion rewards are generally VESTED. |
| Cup championship standings are the main FREE reward layer. FREE / VESTED split for cup standings is: R4 and R3: 100% FREE, R2: 80% FREE / 20% VESTED, R1: 65% FREE / 35% VESTED, R2: 80% FREE / 20% VESTED, and R1: 65% FREE / 35% VESTED. |
RRX is intended to be withdrawable and transferable only after the onchain token launch and where transferability is enabled.
The current roadmap targets October 1, 2026 for initial Avalanche C-Chain deployment, subject to audit, testing, deployment readiness, and final legal review. Until then, RRX functions as an in-platform gameplay balance with full in-game utility.
Once onchain settlement is live, only the transferable FREE portion is available for open transfer or withdrawal where supported. VESTED balances stay usable in-game but are not openly transferable until vesting expires.
Availability on third-party venues depends on technical support, market conditions, and applicable law; the whitepaper does not promise liquidity or price support.
When transfers are enabled for your FREE balance, use your wallet’s Avalanche-compatible receive address to accept RRX and send only to the correct network and address. Blockchain transfers are irreversible.
Approved in-game actions and open wallet transfers are not the same thing. VESTED balances are not openly transferable until vesting expires, even though they can still be used inside the Reaction Racing economy.
The latest whitepaper designates Avalanche C-Chain as the canonical smart-contract and settlement layer. RRX, RRGV, vehicle state, vesting, staking, treasury accounting, and governance all resolve against Avalanche C-Chain.
For approved gameplay actions, the DAO intends to sponsor gas so players do not need a separate AVAX balance for ordinary in-game interactions. That sponsorship does not extend to arbitrary wallet transfers, unsupported contract calls, or third-party transactions.
The whitepaper also describes supported wallet environments and acquisition channels as access layers only; the canonical state still lives on Avalanche C-Chain.
Rewards & Earning
Your earnings depend on rank, finishing position, and whether you are in a race, a season table, or a Cup Championship. The latest whitepaper publishes these headline rewards:
| Reward Snapshot | R4 | R3 | R2 | R1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| P1 race reward | 5 RRX | 7 RRX | 9 RRX | 10 RRX |
| P1 single-season reward | 15 RRX | 30 RRX | 45 RRX | 60 RRX |
| P1 Cup reward | 50 RRX | 100 RRX | 200 RRX | 400 RRX |
There are also published +1 RRX fastest-lap and +1 RRX race-complete bonuses across ranks.
Actual earnings still depend on results, field strength, onboarding status, and live balancing. The whitepaper explicitly says reward parameters may be modified over time to protect gameplay quality and economic stability.
The latest whitepaper uses a phased onboarding model. Direct onboarding rewards decline as the player base matures, and all of them are credited as VESTED balances.
| Founding Players (first 2500 players): 1,000 RRX New User Bonus |
| Initial launch to month 6: 500 RRX |
| Mature phase: 100–200 RRX |
The current welcome package is the 'Founding Players' package, which is the strongest onboarding tier.
The latest whitepaper describes a temporary Reward Doubler designed to help new players build momentum early.
| Founding players: First 30 seasons: 2x rewards |
| Growth Players: first 10 seasons |
| Standard: first 3 seasons |
It is an onboarding accelerator, not a permanent multiplier, and it steps down as the ecosystem matures.
All the rewards that you earn through playing, are automatically sent to your wallet, right after you earned them. There is nothing you need to do, except for playing!
You can invite as many friends as you like to join Reaction Racing. After your invited player completes his or her first season, the referral reward is credited as vested balances automatically to your wallet.
The referral rewards are as follows:
| Founding players: 200 RRX per invited player |
| Initial launch to month 6: 150 RRX per invited player |
| Mature phase: 100 RRX per invited player |
Like the New User Bonus, referral rewards are VESTED balances.
Staking & Governance
Staking in Reaction Racing is a gameplay-alignment mechanism. You stake RRX to unlock modest bonuses to car performance and race / season rewards while you are actively competing.
| Staking Level | RRX Staked | Performance Bonus | Reward Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| SL0 | 0 | 0% | 0% |
| SL1 | 100 | 1% | 1% |
| SL2 | 500 | 2% | 2% |
| SL3 | 2,000 | 3% | 3% |
| SL4 | 5,000 | 4% | 4% |
The latest whitepaper caps the published tiers at SL4. Higher staking is meant to matter, but not overpower skill or car quality.
No. The whitepaper explicitly says staking is not a passive-yield mechanism and does not create guaranteed returns or fixed profit entitlement.
Staking benefits apply only through active racing.
RRGV is the non-transferable Reaction Racing Governance Token. It is separate from RRX and has no monetary value.
Its purpose is governance participation, voting weight, and governance-linked in-game utility. Under the whitepaper, RRGV is earned through gameplay and participation rather than sold as an investment token.
Published earning routes include race participation, race placement, Cup standings, and valid governance votes.
Yes. The latest whitepaper describes governance-linked utility benefits for active voters over a rolling 12-month window:
| Active Voter (3+ valid votes): 2% entry-fee reduction and +0.2% performance bonus |
| Engaged Voter (6+): 4% and +0.4% |
| Steward (9+): 7% and +0.7% |
| Core Steward (12+): 10% and +1.0% |
The published caps are 10% maximum entry-fee reduction and +1.0% maximum governance-linked performance bonus.
